2021, we met a truly inspiring entrepreneur Ms. Christy Buss, founder & CEO of HEDO, a medical-grade skincare brand, made in USA. Christy has been a dancer and a leading choreographer and believes in taking care of her body inside out. She wanted HEDO to be this luxurious self-care line backed by science and manufactured according to the highest standards. Today, HEDO has been featured across leading media outlets including Forbes with tons of customer testimonials and selling as one of the most preferred brands for skincare across USA.

CHALLENGE

The business was facing a tremendous challenge when we met during 2021. Product packaging did not justify the quality of product, website was half done, brand was not defined and it required a complete brand overhaul to start sales. There was excellent brand traction and impressive customer testimonials, but no one knew that a phenomenal brand which truly took skincare to self love even existed.

SOLUTION

Brandbeat started off with a deep dive into the entrepreneurs journey, understanding how much has already been invested in the brand and how much investment can be organized to immediately go to market. We helped the founder with end to end budgeting which included marketing, sales and organization development. From there on, we forecasted sales and conducted a thorough market research working backwards to figure out, how much we should
spend on packaging, online marketing, retail marketing and acquiring strategic partners to develop sales channel.We successfully broke through the clutter and created a brand character which depicted the true philosophy on which the brand was created, Hedoism. A romantic, luxury, high end medical grade skin care brand which would set a new bar for the industry. It was a bold step to challenge the regular and launch with 20 SKUs on day one.

Love Note – A unique tantalizing, invigorating conversation of love and self-care in a booklet which is served inside the box to redefine the unboxing experience and set the mood for beginning the journey with HEDO.

Brochures for Skin Concerns – eight brochures for skin care concerns which highlighted relevant products for each category.

E-commerce Website – A custom designed Shopify website connected with pixels and all social media handles.

Corporate Profile – for strategic partnerships and presenting it for Business to Business client
